As a multi-service agency, THRIVE Child Development Centre / Centre de développement de l’enfant (incorporated in 1983) is an active participant in supporting and strengthening the health and well-being of children, youth and families, and communities across Northeastern Ontario. As an integral part of the communities, THRIVE supports children & youth from 0–18 years of age who are impacted by differences in physical, perceptual, communication and/or developmental trajectories. It is our mission to build on their unique strengths, gifts, and talents so that they and their families can truly THRIVE!
THRIVE is a non-profit organization that values the community support and loyalty of donors. Alongside THRIVE, the THRIVE Child Development Centre Foundation / Fondation du Centre de développement de l’enfant (established in 1990) is a charitable organization that enables the expansion of services and programs for the children and young people served by THRIVE. The Foundation plays a key stewardship role in supporting the Centre’s space, equipment, and special program needs. Many of the children, youth, and families who receive support through THRIVE have been touched by donors’ generosity.
