The Sault Ste. Marie DSSAB, one of ten provincial agencies tasked with delivering social services in northern Ontario, is comprised of eight locally elected representatives who serve Sault Ste. Marie, Prince Township, and 31 unincorporated townships extending to Montreal River.
Social Services Sault Ste. Marie is responsible for the provision and delivery of Early Years Services, Infrastructure & Development, Housing & Homelessness Services, Ontario Works, and Paramedic Services, in Sault Ste. Marie, Prince Township and Sault North.
