SOYA (Save Our Young Adults)

For over 13 years, SOYA (Supporting Others With Youth and Adults) has been a cornerstone of compassion and support in Sault Ste. Marie. Every week, we reach out to approximately 500 individuals and families who are grappling with mental health challenges, substance use disorders, homelessness, and food insecurity.

At SOYA, we offer a wide range of essential services without judgment or cost, including:

  • Nutritious Food & Meals: Ensuring that no one goes hungry.
  • Clothing & Household Items: Providing warmth and comfort through essential clothing and household necessities.
  • Personal Hygiene Products: Supporting dignity and self-care.
  • Additional Support: Meeting any other immediate needs our community members may have.

Our service depot is conveniently located at 178 Gore St., Sault Ste. Marie, ON, P6A 4N4.

Tuesday & Thursday 11am-2pm

Saturdays 11am-3pm

Community pantry is only open on Saturdays.

Inspired by the tragic story of a mother who lost her child to a drunk driver, we are dedicated to preventing further loss and supporting those impacted by substance use disorder.

Remember: Every person is someone's beloved child. At SOYA, we are here to offer the help and hope that every individual in our community deserves.
