Tuomo's Stubbornly Finnish Food

Tuomo's Stubbornly Finnish Food came to life in 2014 when Tuomo (Trina's Father) began whipping up some tasty Finnish treats to sell at the Mill Market in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Trina pitched in, handling the sales and the behind-the-scenes stuff, while also learning the art of baking from her Isä (Father).

Fast forward to 2019, Tuomo decided to call it a day and handed the reins over to Trina and her husband, Billy. Who re-branded the business with a fresh new look to coincide with their fresh new start.
We're so excited about opening our first location on 459 Second Line West. We've been working hard so our new location will not only have our mouthwatering baked goods but also coffee, deli goodies, and even a few special treats imported all the way from Finland!
