SooToday received the following note, and accompanying photos and video from Elise Ivic, RN and nurse supervisor at Sault Area Hospital. A young Sault girl went out of her way to thank local nurses for their efforts during the current COVID-19 crisis.
A little girl by the name of Talia made personalized cards with words of encouragement for each of the nurses working on Medicine 3C this morning. She even included a toonie in each card so they could buy themselves a coffee.
It brought tears to nurses eyes and started our day on such a positive note. Wish there were more kids like this out there who chose to use some of their downtime to share joy!
