Two more people test positive for COVID-19 in Algoma District

Both people are self-isolating

Two more people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the Algoma District, reports Algoma Public Health (APH).

Case number 45 was exposed through international travel and is self-isolating. 

Case number 46 was a close contact of another person with COVID-19 and is also self-isolating.

Both individuals were tested today, according to the APH notice.

"Through contact tracing, Algoma Public Health notifies all close contacts directly," the notice states. "If you are not contacted by Algoma Public Health, you are not considered a close contact."
