Algoma Public Health says it doesn't know how the latest person to test positive came into contact with the COVID-19 virus.
Case number 44 was tested on Oct. 28 and is self-isolating.
"Through contact tracing, Algoma Public Health notifies all close contacts directly," says a release from the health unit. "If you are not contacted by Algoma Public Health, you are not considered a close contact."
