SooToday, in partnership with the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society and The Animal Assistance Group (TAAG), brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet in need of adoption.

Cali
Cali has had a rough start to her life as she and her siblings were abandoned by their owner and were left to literally starve to death for 3 weeks before TAAG was able to rescue them from these appalling conditions. Cali’s sisters have found their furever homes but Cali is still available.
Cali needed more time to overcome the trauma she suffered with abandonment. She is a bit timid at first but once she gets to know and trust you then she will start to come out of her shell. She loves her neck scratches and being petted..... loves the laser light, soft balls and wands.
Cali would do best in a home that is quiet and calming. Sudden movements or loud noises tend to scare her a bit. It will take her time to feel comfortable.
