Housekeeper

Position Overview

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all assigned Group Health Centre locations to a standard set by the Group Health Center.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate may possess: 

• Current experience with housekeeping duties in an administrative or clinical setting

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities  

• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend
• Current knowledge of WHMIS and its application in a housekeeping role
• Working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment
• Well-developed self-awareness, self-management and social awareness skills
• A solid track record of maintaining privacy and confidentiality in the workplace
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive successful working relationships
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and interdependently as an active member of a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and take initiative

Rate of Pay:

$22.46– $23.39
