LOCATION: Mount St. Joseph Catholic Education Centre, Sault Ste. Marie, ON
HOURS: Hours will vary – scheduled between 7:00 am and 4:30 pm
EFFECTIVE DATE: Immediately
RATE OF PAY: $28.93/hour

DESCRIPTION:
• Designates will receive training for this position and will be given priority in the call rotation when casual secretary support is needed.
• Responsible for providing front-line reception and switchboard service for the Mount St. Joseph Catholic Education Centre.
• Supports the daily staff replacement process and makes emergency call-out requests to casual employees.
• When not scheduled as a designate for the Switchboard/Call-Out Allocator position, the successful applicant will be on the casual secretary call-out list and may be assigned to all other schools and departments in Sault Ste. Marie. Hours and locations will vary.
• As this is a casual position, there is no guarantee of hours or work.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Post-Secondary education in Office Administration or related field
• Knowledge of office procedures and methods
• Excellent typing skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to organize and maintain an efficient school business office
• Ability to operate a computer and various software packages (Aspen, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
