📣Calling all Local Businesses and Community Organizations!📣
Canstruction® is an anti-hunger initiative where teams from local businesses and community organizations create sculptures from collected canned goods and non-perishable items. These sculptures will be judged by a panel, with prizes awarded in various categories.
The collected food this year will be donated to The Algoma Food Security Network, benefiting several agencies and non-profit organizations in the Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma region. We are looking for dedicated and highly motivated teams to collect cans to “canstruct” their masterpieces, all while having fun and fighting hunger in our community.
On Friday, September 27-29, teams will have one weekend to “canstruct” their unique sculptures. They will be on display to the public from September 30 - October 06 at the Station Mall in Downtown Sault Ste. Marie. The winners will be announced on Tuesday, October 01, 2024.
