Truck Wash Technologies Inc. designs and builds custom vehicle wash equipment. Located in Sault Ste. Marie, the company has been pioneering new concepts and technologies that have led to the development of new products for the vehicle wash industry.
Truck Wash Technologies recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees, our ability to adapt and maintain efficiency in our organizational processes. We are currently looking for an operations manager to join our team that possesses similar traits. The position will be responsible for the overall day-to-day management at both our manufacturing facility and engineering offices
Skills
• Degree in Bachelor of Technology, Business, Operations
Management or related field
• Experience as Operations Manager or similar role
• Work experience in automation and machine building an
asset
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in work environment
and priorities
• Good communication, leadership, problem solving and
analytic skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic
systems
• Ability to understand and read technical drawings
• Ability to perform under stress of deadlines
• Familiarity with occupational health and safety guidelines.
• Possess a valid driver’s license
Duties
• Manage and supervise the workforce, including task
allocation, setting deadlines, and monitoring performance.
• Improve operational management systems, processes, and
best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor and supervise the manufacturing process to ensure
smooth operations and optimal outcomes.
• Manage the organization’s operational budgets, ensuring
efficient utilization of resources.
• Purchase materials and plan inventory to maintain optimal
supply chain operations.
• Manage strategic partnerships with suppliers and vendors,
ensuring their compliance with the company’s needs and
demands.
