Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled labourer to join our crew. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction or excavation work, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with excavation, site preparation, and material handling tasks.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment.
- Support heavy equipment operators by providing ground guidance and assistance.
- Load, unload, and transport materials to and from job sites.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform site clean-up and ensure a tidy, hazard-free work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient project execution.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in excavation, construction, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with basic tools and equipment used in excavation projects.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and a commitment to following them.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- A valid G driver’s license.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel to job sites as needed.
