Team Automotive is seeking a Licensed Automotive Technician.
The Licensed Automotive Technician is responsible for performing skilled tasks in the mechanical repair and maintenance of all types of cars, SUVs and trucks, ensuring they are maintained in good working condition by inspecting, diagnosing, repairing and servicing customer vehicles
General Responsibilities
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks - oil changes, tire rotations and filter replacements
• Interpret work orders and diagnose vehicle problems
• Inspect vehicles to identify any potential problems or safety concerns
• Repair or replace defective parts, components or systems
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure that the work done meets manufacturers' specifications and legislated regulations
• Complete service reports
• Responsible to ensure all work is completed in a safe manner
• Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology and repair techniques
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
• Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and schematics
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and kneeling Communication skills to effectively communicate with advisors about the customers vehicle.
Candidate Profile:
• Must have own tools and a valid driver's license & good abstract
• Strong communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Able to work independently or collaboratively with others as part of a team
• Able to work calmly under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Must work with a safety-minded approach, consistently meeting all safety requirements.
