January 22, 1955 - Marguerite and Donald Gouchie - 70th Anniversary
The year was 1955. "Rock Around the Clock" by Bill Haley and the Comets was topping the charts, the first television broadcast of the opening of parliament aired, and the Brooklyn Dodgers won their first World Series. 1955 was also the year when a young couple serving in the Canadian Air Force in Bagotville, PQ started their life-long journey together. 70 years of marriage loving the same person, building a family, a home, making cherished memories, and filling a life with laughter. The daughters, granddaughters, great-granddaughters and great-grandsons of Marguerite and Donald Gouchie wish this amazing couple all the love and happiness they have selflessly bestowed on all of us throughout their amazing marriage.
