On Jan. 5, 2018, officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 33-year-old Kristi Waboose of Wellington Street West for theft.
On July 21, 2017 Waboose was in the company of another female co-accused and the two located a bank card belonging to a victim that was not known to them.
(It is alleged) the two then used the bank card to make just under $90 in unauthorized purchases. Officers located one of the females on July 21 and she was taken into custody at that time.
On Jan. 5, officers located Ms. Waboose and she was taken into custody. She has been charged with one count of theft under $5,000. She will appear in court on Feb. 12, 2018.
