Woman accused of using stolen credit cards faces twelve charges

Police say the accused made ten separate purchases worth $590 total

Sault Police are accusing a 36-year-old of using a stolen credit card.

Officers report the accused stole a purse from a vehicle which contained bank cards on Nov. 23, and used the bank cards to make ten separate purchases worth a total of $590 that same day.

On Wednesday, officers observed the accused on Albert St. and she was arrested.

Tashia Farrell has been charged with ten counts of using a stolen credit card and two counts of theft of a credit card.

She is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 11, 2021.
