A woman has been arrested after a vehicle was stolen earlier this week, police say in a release issued today.

Police say they responded to a call around 11 a.m. yesterday of a possible vehicle theft in the 0-100 block of Bloor Street.

Officers located the vehicle described in the complaint in the 300 block of Wellington St. E.

After seeing the accused getting out of the vehicle, police say they spoke to her and determined she had the keys to the vehicle.

Police say they also found out she was driving with a suspended license.

As a result, Siobhan Fyfe, 54, was arrested and charged with theft of a motor vehicle and driving while under suspension.

She is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 22, 2021.
