Shortly before 5 a.m. this morning, patrol officers conducted a vehicle stop in the downtown area. Officers learned that the driver was suspended. He was arrested for drive under suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.

Shortly before 5 a.m. this morning, patrol officers conducted a vehicle stop in the downtown area. Officers learned that the driver was suspended. He was arrested for drive under suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario. Officers subsequently searched the accused and located a flick knife on the accused, which is a prohibited weapon. Officer also learned that the accused was on conditions not to possession any prohibited weapons. 57-year-old Glen Stevens of Henrietta Avenue has been charged with one count of possession of a prohibited weapon and one count of possession of a prohibited weapon contrary to a court order. He will appear in court on October 6, 2014.

Just after 4:30 this morning, patrol officers arrested a 36-year-old male and charged him with one count of threaten death and one count of criminal harassment. It is alleged that on the 31st of August, the accused repeatedly called and sent text messages to his ex-girlfriend. It is further alleged that the accused also threatened to kill the victim. The accused will appear in bail court this morning.

On September 2, 2014 officers from Patrol Services arrested a male in the west end of the city and charged him with multiple offences relating to domestic related incidents. These incidents included threatening bodily harm as well as multiple probation breaches involving the victim. The accused will appear in bail court on September 3, 2014.

The accused in this matter is 28 years old and has been charged with 8 counts of breach of probation and one count of threatening to cause death or bodily harm.

On September 2, 2014 officers from Patrol Services arrested a male in the downtown area and charged him with a number of offences related to domestic related incidents. This was as a result of investigation conducted by officers from Patrol Services and Criminal Investigations Branch. The charges included threatening bodily harm as well as breaches of probation and drug offences. He will appear in bail court on September 3, 2014.

On September 2, 2014 officers from Patrol Services arrested a male in the downtown area and charged him with weapons offences as well as breach of probation and breach of a undertaking relating to an original domestic related incident. He will appear in bail court on September 3, 2014.

The accused is 42 years old. Officers on routine patrol located the accused walking on Bruce Street and a check revealed he was on conditions not to consume alcohol from a domestic incident. The accused had been drinking. When officers searched the accused they located a large kitchen knife concealed in the small of his back, under his clothes. The accused was on probation at the time. He has been charged with one count of possession of a concealed weapon, one count of breach of an undertaking and two counts of breach of probation.

On September 2, 2014 two break and enters were reported to the Sault Ste. Marie Police and investigated by Patrol Services. The first B&E occurred in the 100 block of Wilding Avenue. An apartment was ransacked, two males were seen leaving the area unknown description. The second B&E occurred in the 100 block of McFadden Avenue. U. S., Canadian and Japanese currency was taken, a Roots hat and a ring. Unknown suspects.

On September 2, 2014 Patrol Services investigated a domestic complaint of harassing phone calls, and text messages in the downtown area. Incident still under investigation.
