Bail Court Appearance for Outstanding Warrant Arrest:

A 17 year-old male youth was arrested at 1:05 pm at the city police station after turning himself in on outstanding warrants. He has been charged with one count of fail to appear court. He is to appear in bail court this morning.

Impaired Driver Arrested:

33 year-old Megan Clarke of #21-23 Terry Fox Place was arrested on the 22nd of September at 8:05 pm on Lake Street and charged with one count of impaired driving and one count of consume over the legal limit. It is alleged that around 8:14 pm last evening city police received a call regarding a possible impaired driver on Trunk Road. Police observed the vehicle turning onto Lake Street, stopped it and found the driver, the accused, to be under the influence of alcohol. She is to appear in court on the 2nd of November.

Wanted Male Charged for Pawning Stolen Property:

28 year-old Michael Weise of #2-641 Queen Street West was arrested on the 22nd of September at 7:32 am on Great Northern Road and charged with three counts of theft under $5,000.00. It is alleged that on three separate occasions from May to July, the accused attended at a local pawn shop and pawned stolen property. He is to appear in court on the 19th of October.

• A bicycle was stolen from Whitney Avenue.
• A licence plate was stolen from a vehicle on Centennial Avenue.
• A vehicle window was smashed on Queen Street East and some items were stolen.
