Domestic Related Arrests Officers with the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 40 year-old female and a 50 year-old male last evening at 7:04 pm at their r residence after responding to a complaint of a domestic disturbance.

Officers with the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 40 year-old female and a 50 year-old male last evening at 7:04 pm at their r residence after responding to a complaint of a domestic disturbance. It is alleged that they got into verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation. Both allegedly punched and pushed each other. The male was also struck in the head with a lamp, causing injuries that required medical attention. They are both to appear in bail court this morning.

Female Arrested on Outstanding Warrants
Officers with the Sault Ste Marie Police Service Street Team arrested 41 year-old Irena Sardo of 167 Tancred Street at 6:44 pm last evening on Gore Street. It is alleged that the accused was wanted on several outstanding warrants and she was charged with three counts of fail to appear court and two counts of breach of a release document.

Wanted Female Arrested with Assault Related Charges
Detectives with the Sault Ste Marie Police Service Investigations Unit arrested 18 year-old Emily Murphy yesterday afternoon at the station and charged her with one count of assault with a weapon and two counts of assault. It is alleged that on the 13th of March at approximately 11:00 pm, while at an east end residence, the accused sprayed mace in the face of a 16 year-old female known to her. The victim received injuries that required medial attention. It is further alleged that on the 25th of April at approximately 3:30 am the accused assaulted two persons while in the parking lot of an east end convenience store. The accused is to appear in court on the 4th of October.

Shoplifter Arrested
A 16 year-old female youth was arrested at Zellers in the Station Mall yesterday afternoon at 1:35 pm after she allegedly attended at the store at around 1:25 pm and stole several items. She is to appear in court on the 5th of October.

Mischief Reports
• Vehicles were reported vandalized on Labelle Avenue and Douglas Street.
• Playground equipment was vandalized at the H.S. McLellan Preschool.
• Vehicles were entered on Fairview Avenue, Silverdale Avenue, DunRobin Bay. Four wallets, a DVD Player with headphones, a Caddy V100 GPS and a digital camera were reported stolen.
