Two Males Arrested after Drug Search Warrant Executed On the 5th of October just before 10:00 am, members from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Street Team and Canine Unit executed a Search Warrant at 36 Princeton Drive.
Two Males Arrested after Drug Search Warrant Executed
On the 5th of October just before 10:00 am, members from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Street Team and Canine Unit executed a Search Warrant at 36 Princeton Drive. Located in the residence was a two-room hydroponic marihuana grow operation with various stages of plants. Six marihuana plants were seized along with growing equipment, scales and packaging material for distribution. Also located at the residence were 80 grams of marihuana buds. Total street value of drugs seized was $7600. Also found was a push dagger which is a prohibited weapon. As a result, the two residents of that address, 54 year-old Joseph Pauze and 19 year-old Peter Pauze were both arrested and charged with the following offences: One count of Production of a Controlled Drug or Substance, one count of Possession of a Controlled Drug or Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, one count of Possession of a Controlled Drug or Substance and one count of Possession of a Prohibited Weapon. They are to appear in court on the 8th of November.

Male Arrested on Outstanding Warrant
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 37 year-old Chad Tucker of 72 Constellation Place yesterday afternoon at 1:57 pm after he turned himself in on an outstanding warrant. He was charged with one count of failing to appear in court and is now to attend court on the 8th of November.

Shoplifting Arrest
Loretta Carey, age 29, of #2-109 James Street was arrested by officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service yesterday morning at 10:35 am at Your Independent Drug Store in the Station Mall and charged with one count of theft under $5,000. It is alleged that she attended at the store just before 10 am and stole some items. She is to appear in court on the 8th of November.

Mischief Reports
• A front window of a residence was smashed by two youths that threw a rock at it yesterday at 5:18 pm. Two male suspects, 15-17 years of age, were observed running south on Dennis Street. One male, approximately 5’9 was wearing a black hoodie and a light blue baseball hat and the second was approximately 5’9, short brown hair, wearing blue jeans.
• A vehicle window was damaged in the parking lot on East Street.
• A fence on King Street was vandalized.

Break and Enter
A residence on Seventh Avenue was entered around 10:56 pm last night. The male suspect is described as being in his mid 20’s, wearing a toque and a ski type jacket. It is not known at this time if anything was taken.
