Youth Arrested After Breaking Rules of Release Document A 13-year old youth will appear in bail court this morning after being arrested yesterday afternoon. It is alleged that the youth failed to abide by conditions on a release document.
Youth Arrested After Breaking Rules of Release Document

A 13-year old youth will appear in bail court this morning after being arrested yesterday afternoon. It is alleged that the youth failed to abide by conditions on a release document. It is alleged that the male left his residence without adult supervision in addition to harassing adults at the address. The youth has been charged with two counts of breach of a release order.

Disqualified Driver Charged

45-year old Theresa St. Jules of 62 St. Andrews Terrace was arrested yesterday afternoon and charged with one count of operate motor vehicle while disqualified-court order. Officers on routine patrol stopped the accused in the area of Wellington Street West and St. Andrews Terrace for a violation of the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario. A subsequent check revealed that she was a disqualified driver. She will appear in court on November 20th.

Charged with Assaulting a Police Officer

A 17-year old female was arrested just after 3 am this morning and charged with two counts of assault peace officer and one count of obstruct police. Just before 3 am City Police attended at a downtown address after receiving a 911 call regarding a domestic dispute. It is alleged that the accused failed to allow police into the residence where the call was. It is further alleged that the accused assaulted police by pushing two of the officers in the chest and by grabbing one of the officers by the arm. The accused was subsequently arrested and charged and will appear in court on November 21st.

Break & Enter

Yesterday morning a break and enter was reported at Tri Fuels on Oxford Street. Sometime between 4:30 pm on the 16th and 8 am on the 17th thieves broke into the business and stole a television and possibly other items.

Mischief to Vehicles

City Police received two reports of mischief to vehicles in the last 24-hour period. Just after 4:30 pm yesterday a young male broke a side window out of a vehicle and grabbed some items from the vehicle before fleeing the area. The incident occurred in the 400 block of Albert Street East. Just after 6 am this morning a vehicle parked at the Quality Inn on Bay Street had it’s side window broken out. It is unknown at this time if anything was taken.
