ADJUSTING TO WINTER DRIVING CONDITIONS
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service investigated ten motor vehicle collisions yesterday. Most were of a very minor nature. The common theme of these collisions appeared to be that drivers were not adjusting their driving to winter road conditions.

All motor vehicle operators need to be aware that winter driving conditions have returned and extra care must be utilized when operating a motor vehicle on snow covered slippery roads.

YOUTH BREACHES PROBATION
Yesterday afternoon, at 2:05 pm at a downtown location, the accused a 15-year-old youth, was in the company of two other young persons that the accused was not to associate or communicate with. Patrol officers arrested and charged the youth with two counts of Breach of Probation. The youth will appear in court in early December.

ONE BREAK IN
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service investigated one break in yesterday. At 11:30 pm a resident of Peoples Road advised police that thieves had broken into their residence between 9:30 and 10:00 pm. Thieves stole a Play Station, some games for it and a number of compact discs.
