MALE CHARGED WITH THREATENING TO CAUSE DEATH A 29-year old male was arrested last evening after his ex-girlfriend complained of an incident involving the male from earlier this year.
MALE CHARGED WITH THREATENING TO CAUSE DEATH

A 29-year old male was arrested last evening after his ex-girlfriend complained of an incident involving the male from earlier this year. It is alleged that the male held a knife to the complainant’s throat and threatened to kill her. The victim did not receive any injuries from the incident. The male has been charged with one count of threatening to cause death or bodily harm and one count of assault with a weapon. The male will appear in bail court this morning.

FEMALE PULLS FIRE ALARM.

Yesterday afternoon City Police arrested 24-year-old Dayna Johnston of 211-94 Allard Street after she pulled a fire alarm at the Sault Area Hospital when there was no fire. She has been charged with one count of false fire alarm and will appear in court on the 20th of December
.
TWO 19 YEAR OLD MALES CHARGED WITH BREAK AND ENTER

Early this morning City Police arrested 2 males who broke into an outbuilding at the Sault Ste Marie Country Club on Queen Street East. It is alleged the males kicked in the entry door and then kicked in all of the glass on a backhoe/excavating machine. Both 19-year old Steven Shaw of 90 Country Club Place and 19-year old Jordan Gouley of 48 Hussey Street have been charged with one count of break and enter and one count of mischief over $5000. Mr. Gouley has also been charged with one count of breach of probation. Both males will appear in court on December 20th.

IMPARIED DRIVING CHARGES LAID AFTER COLLISION

Last night shortly after 11 pm City Police attended on Goulais Avenue, near Second Line West, for a motor vehicle collision with injuries. It is alleged that a pickup truck pulled out of the parking lot at the corner of Second Line West and Goulais Avenue and struck a car that was traveling southbound on Goulais Avenue. The driver of the car, 18-year old Adam Lamoureux of 86 Pittsburg Avenue did not receive any injuries. The driver of the truck, 28-year old Serina Shaganash of 5-710 Second Line West did not receive any injuries, however, 21-year old Denise Taylor of 634 Connaught Ave, who was a passenger in the truck, was taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Serina Shaganash has been charged with one count of impaired driving and one count of consume over the legal limit. She will appear in court on December 20th.

OFFICERS NEED YOUR HELP

Officers from the Sault Ste Marie Traffic Services Section are requesting your assistance in solving a hit and run that occurred on the November 11th between 10 am and 1 pm. A green Chevrolet van was parked in the Station Mall parking lot near the Dennis Street entrance area when a blue pickup truck with one male occupant hit the van and left the scene. If you witnessed this accident or if you are the driver of the pickup truck, contact the Traffic Services Section at extension 116

REPORTED BREAK AND ENTER

City Police received a number of break and enter reports yesterday. A home in the 600 block of Wellington Street West was entered during the day time hours and thieves made off with video games, game cartridges and an amplifier. A home in the 200 block of Parker Street was entered last evening and thieves made off with a CD player and a number of CD’s.
