B&E FOILED At approx. 2:35 AM this morning City Police were called to the rear of 14 Queen St.W., the Russell Food Equipment Store, and located two males acting suspicious.
B&E FOILED

At approx. 2:35 AM this morning City Police were called to the rear of 14 Queen St.W., the Russell Food Equipment Store, and located two males acting suspicious. Investigation of the males led to the arrest of one male for possession of House Breaking Tools. Charged is Curtis Daynard, 20, of 389 Pim St. It is alleged that Mr. Daynard had in his possession a pry bar and a flashlight with intent to enter the business. He will be appearing in on June 28th at 9:00 AM. After investigating the second male he was released without charges.

B&E SUCCESS

At approx. 1:01 AM this morning City Police were called to a Break and Enter at the Hard Wok Café, located at 303 Cathcart St. Suspect(s) entered the premises by breaking a glass window. Once inside a small amount of cash was stolen.

SORAY PAINT DAMAGE

A house in 600 block of Queen St.W. was the site of a mischief yesterday. Culprit(s) used spray paint cans to cause damage to the house.

ANOTHER OFFICE THEFT

At approx. 7:00 PM yesterday City Police were called to investigating another theft of cash from an office. This latest theft took place to an office in the 800 block of Queen St.W. The City Police would like to remind the public not to leave any valuables where the general public has access to them.


B&E FOILED TOO

Early yesterday morning police were called to investigate an attempted break and enter to the Hub Cigar Store, located at 372 Queen St.E. Suspect(s) used a prying tool to damage a door lock. Entry was not gained.
