Two males were arrested at shortly before 5:00 a.m. this morning wanted on several outstanding warrants.  19 year old Dylan King of no fixed address and 20 year old Dondel Wigwas of no fixed address were arrested for several offences and sent to bail court at 10:00 a.m. this morning.

It is alleged that on the 20Apr13 at approximately 11:00 p.m. at Eastview School, King and Wigwas robbed 2 male victims.  A knife and a weighted sock were used to threaten the victims. 

It is also alleged on the 12Apr13 at approximately 3:06 p.m. Dylan King stole cash from a Galaxy Cinema staff member at the Station Mall.  Dondel Wigwas and Dylan King watched a Bank and a Galaxy Cinema employee switch over money from US to Canadian currency in a mall bank.  When the employee exited the bank with cash in a case Dylan King grabbed the money from the victim from behind. King then ran out of the mall headed towards Dennis and Albert Street then to the train tracks by St. Mary's school.  Police dog track led to Birch Street where suspects were arrested for theft.  The money was recovered and returned to Galaxy Cinema.

It is also alleged that on 22Apr13 police attended a robbery on Douglas Street.  Residents there were complaining about being maced and were in obvious discomfort. Several males had attended in a vehicle, two got out and Dylan King was identified as the accused who bear maced the victim and then tried to take his money.  King has been charged with administer noxious substance and robbery.

It is alleged that on the 13Apr13 at 1220 hours city police attended a break and enter on Birch Street that had occurred between the 12Apr13 at 1600 hours to the 13Apr13 at 1000 hours. The suspect entered through a rear window and prior to entering had gained entry by smashing the window. The value of the damage is $500.00. The suspect was later identified as Dondel Wigwas of no fixed address. He has been charged with break and enter and breach of probation.

Sault Ste. Marie Police Service Traffic Services officers are currently investigating a multiple vehicle and pedestrian involved collision at Brien Avenue and Cunningham Rd. that occurred at approximately 4:05 p.m.  One person has been transported to hospital with unknown injuries at this time.  Traffic is expected to be delayed or disrupted in the area; no further information is available at this time.

Earlier release: 

On April 30, 2013, officers assigned to Investigation Services arrested a male regarding dated sexual related charges that had occurred between June and September of 2012.  The male age 81 was arrest for 2 counts of sexual assault, 2 counts of invitation to sexual touching and 2 counts of sexual interference.  The accused will appear in court on June 3, 2013 at 9:00am.

On April 30, 2013 officers assigned to the Technological Crime Unit arrested an accused male, age 31 for Making Child Pornography and committing the offense of Indecent Act. It is alleged that on April 24, 2013 the accused created a text based chat identifying having sexual activity with an infant female. Further it is alleged that the accused did masturbate in front of an infant female.  The accused will appear in bail court May 1, 2013 at 10:00am.

Between the 21st and 25th of March 2013 the accused, age 36, after being in a relationship with the victim took three rings owned by the victim and pawned one of the rings at a local pawn shop.  On April 30, 2013 the accused was arrested for theft under $5000 and possession of property obtained by crime. The accused will appear in bail court on May 1, 2013 at 10:00am.
