Female Charged For Assault Towards Police Officer At approx. 1:35 AM this morning City Police were called to attend the area of Pine Plaza in regards to a female yelling and swearing.
Female Charged For Assault Towards Police Officer

At approx. 1:35 AM this morning City Police were called to attend the area of Pine Plaza in regards to a female yelling and swearing. Upon arriving at the scene the officers observed a male and a female, both in an intoxicated condition, arguing. The officers then attempted to arrest these two persons. The female resisted the officers and began to assault and kick at the officers. One officer was kneed by the accused prior to her arrest. Charged with Assault Police, Resist Arrest and Cause a Disturbance by Shouting and Swearing is: Crystal Beaudry, D.O.B.: 31 Oct 1980, of 22 Elmwood Ave. She will be appearing in court on Monday April 11th at 9:00 AM.

Male Turns Self In To Police

Yesterday afternoon a 36-year-old male turned himself in to the City Police on a charge of Assault. It is alleged that the male assaulted his wife, on Saturday March 5th, by slapping about the head. The victim did not require any medical attention as a result of the assault. The accused will be attending court on Monday April 5th at 9:00 AM.

Youth to Appear in Bail Court

Yesterday evening, at approx. 8:30 PM City Police arrested a young person for Breach of Recognizance. It is alleged that the young person breach a condition of their release documents by communicating with a co-accused. The young person had originally be arrested on a charge of Robbery and was released from Bail Court with certain conditions- one of them being not to communicate with any of the co- accused. The youth will be appearing in Bail Court today at 10:00 AM.

Break and Enter

City Police are investigating a Break and Enter that took place yesterday afternoon, in the 100 block of Passmore Rd. In the incident the culprit(s) used a pry tool to force the front door of the residence. Once inside the thieves stole a quantity of electronic equipment and video games. It is believed that the stolen good were carried out in a hockey bag. If anyone recalls seeing anyone walking around in that area yesterday afternoon between 12:00 noon and 3:30 PM please call the City Police Detective Office.
