Two Persons Arrested on Outstanding Warrants

25 year-old Krystal Lynn Hart of no fixed address, wanted on several outstanding warrants, was located and arrested by Street Team officers on Cathcart Street at 7:15 pm last evening. She has been charged with one count of fail to appear court, one count of fail to appear for prints and three counts of breach of probation. She is to appear in bail court this morning.
25 year-old Dustin Schrik of 322 Albert Street West was located and arrested on the 2nd of March on Willow Avenue and charged with one count of fail to appear court. He is to appear in bail court this morning.

Drug Warrant Charges

On the 26th of February at approximately 8:30 p.m., members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Services Street Team, the Ontario Provincial Police Drug Unit and the Ontario Provincial Police Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau conducted a drug investigation that led to the execution of a search warrant at 123 Elgin Street, the residence of 26 year-old Justin Kenneth Flood. During the course of the search officers located a marihuana grow operation with 15 plants growing. Officers also located 21 grams of Cannabis Marijuana, 454 grams of Marihuana shake and grow equipment. As a result, Justin Flood has been charged with one count of production of a controlled drug or substance, one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance for the purpose of trafficking and two counts of possession of a controlled drug or substance. The estimated street value of the drugs seized is $15,664.00. The accused is to appear in court on the 12th of April.

Male Charged with Sexual Offences

Yesterday afternoon officers with Investigation Services arrested a 47 year-old male at the police station and charged him with one count of sexual assault, one count of sexual interference and one count of invitation to sexual touching. It is alleged that the sexual offences occurred at the residence of the accused between the 1st of January 2006 and the 31st of August 2006 and involved a female relative under the age of 16 years. He is to appear in court on the 12th of April.

Male Shoplifter Charged

47 year-old Vincenzo Fronzi of 293 Douglas Street was arrested and charged yesterday afternoon with one count of theft under $5,000.00 after he allegedly attended at the Metro Store on Second Line West around 1:20 pm and stole a meat product. He was apprehended by store security and held for police. He is to appear in court on the 12th of April.

Attempt Break and Enter

An attempt break and enter was reported last night at approximately 9:30 pm to a residence in the 2000 block of Second Line West. A home owner reported that two males attempted to break into his side door. They ran off when they discovered someone was home. Both males were wearing dark clothing and ran off on foot in an easterly direction.

Theft Report

A vehicle in the 100 block of Second Line West was entered overnight on the 2nd of March and a GPS was reported stolen.

Mischief Report

A vehicle in the 1000 block of Queen Street East was damaged when it was keyed on the 2nd of March.
