Assault On the 27th of March a 20 year-old male was arrested yesterday afternoon and charged with one count of assault.

On the 27th of March a 20 year-old male was arrested yesterday afternoon and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the 3rd February at a downtown residence the accused assaulted his girlfriend by holding her down and hitting her several times. The victim received non-life threatening injuries. The accused will appear in court on the 25th of April.

Mischief Under $5,000 & Breach

A 15 year-old male was arrested just after midnight on the 28th of March and charged with one count of mischief under $5,000 and two counts of breach of probation under the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA). It is alleged that the accused damaged a bedroom wall at his west end residence by kicking a hole in it. At the time of the incident he was on conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged that on the 26th of March the accused breached his probation by not abiding by his curfew. The accused will appear in court on the 1st of May.

Youth Charged with Multiple Counts of Fraud & Possession of Credit Card Data

A 16 year-old male youth was arrested at the City police station on the 27th of March around 2 pm. He was charged with 16 counts of fraud, 99 counts of possession of credit card data and one count of unauthorized use of a computer. It is alleged that the accused a number of times around the 9th of March ordered merchandise online to the value of over $17,000 from Staples Business Depot on Great Northern Road. It is also believed that the accused ordered the merchandise using numerous stolen credit card data. The accused is to appear in bail court this morning.

Thirteen Year Old Charged with Mischief

City police attended at an elementary school yesterday afternoon and charged a thirteen year-old male youth with one count of mischief under $5,000. It is alleged that the youth was upset and kicked a glass door causing approximately $150 in damage. He is to appear in court on the 1st of May.

The following break and enter were reported overnight:

Northern Heights School on Grand Boulevard was entered around midnight. There was sufficient damage done to the school. It is not known if anything was taken at this time.

Alexander Henry High School on Northern Avenue was entered just after midnight. It is not known if anything was taken at this time.

A residence on Railroad Avenue was entered sometime between 9 am and 12 pm last night. Numerous items were taken including jewellery, a television, DVD player and a radio.

More information on the break and enters to Northern Heights School and Alexander Henry High School:

Regarding the break and enter at Northern Heights School the damage occurred when the suspect gained entry to the school. At this time no other damage has been reported.

In regards to the break and enter which occurred at Alexander Henry High School, City police were dispatched to that address after receiving an alarm. Two males were observed inside the school upon police arrival. A search was conducted, but the males were no longer inside the school. The males were described as both teens. One teen, the younger of the two, was wearing a hat. No other description was provided. A computer, two guitars and a vending machine were reported damaged.
