Afternoon release:
In the early morning hours of March the 13th, 2013 Ryan McLeish, age 18 of 24 Walters St. Sault Ste. Marie did attempt to steal the contents of a Buick sedan parked beside a residence on Pine Street. There was a fresh snowfall and the footprints of McLeish put him trespassing by night into 16 properties between in the 1000 and 1200 block of Wellington Street East. At 4:00 am Patrol Officers arrested and charged MsLeish with Theft under $5,000.00 and Trespass by Night. He will appear in bail court March 13th at 10:00.

On the morning of the 13th of March 2013 staff at Frida’s Café at 128 March St. Sault Ste. Marie reported the business was broken into overnight. Thieves made off with a small quantity of money.
Earlier release:
A young offender turned himself in to city police at 6:20pm after failing to appear in court this morning. The accused has a new court date of April 16th.

There was a break and enter reported in the 400 block of Shannon Road. Entry was gained to the residence by forcing open a back door. It is believed that jewellery was taken.

There was also a break-in reported in the 600 block of North Street. It is not known how entry was gained to the house. Electronic items including a Blackberry Playbook and a laptop computer were taken. Also an unknown amount of jewellery was taken.
