Three persons to appear in bail court
Yesterday morning members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 27-year-old male on a warrant. It is alleged that the accused male failed to report, to the John Howard Society, on June 1st as required by his release conditions. Michael Bjornaa, age 27 of 28 Hughes St. is charged with one count of breach of recognizance.

Yesterday evening members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 20-year-old male for theft and possession of property obtained by crime. It is alleged that on June 28th the accused male stole a hockey jersey and hockey cards from fellow tenants and then pawned these items. It is further alleged that the accused was wanted on a warrant for failing to appear for court on charges of breach of probation, theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime. Tyler Taylor, age 20 of 736 Mackenzie Ave is charged with one count of theft under $5,000, one count of possession of property obtained by crime and one count of failing to appear for court.

Yesterday afternoon members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 19-year-old female on several warrants. It is alleged that between January 10th 2011 and April 15th 2011 the accused failed to appear for court and failed to comply with conditions of her undertaking. Shelbie Zaldiner, age 19 of no fixed address is charged with one count of failing to appear for court and two counts of breach of an undertaking.

Break and Enter
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service investigated two break and enters yesterday.

A residence in the 100 block of Panoramic Dr was entered. Cash was reported stolen.

A residence in the 100 block of St. George’s Ave. W> was entered – medication was reported stolen.

Theft
A motorized bicycle was stolen from the 300 block of Lake St.

A bicycle was stolen from the 400 block of Pim St.

Vehicles were entered in the following locations:
The 100 block of Pointe Louise Dr – electronics were taken.
The 100 block of Brien Ave- CD’s were stolen.
The 100 block of Walnut St. – change and medications were stolen.
The 100 block of Estelle St. – a wallet and change were taken.
The 900 block of Great Northern Rd. – electronics and change were taken.
The 100 block of Oakwood Dr. – electronics were taken.
The 500 block of Morin St. – electronics were taken.
The 200 block of Spruce St. – a leather jacket and medications were stolen.
