On June 21, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. police were called to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Maple Street and St. Georges Avenue. No one was injured in the collision. While speaking to one of the drivers involved in the collision officers determined he had been drinking. A screen device test confirmed their suspicions and the male was brought the Police Services Building for breath tests. The driver, Dino Biscelia, age 56 of Peoples Road, was charged with Impaired Driving and Driving over .08. He will be appearing in court on July 25, 2016.
