On July 7, 2015 at 6 p.m. a resident in the 100-block of Shannon Road reported a break and enter. The victim advised police that 5 guitars, a Sony Vaio laptop computer, two watches and rings, along with some medication was taken.
On July 8, 2015 shortly after 8 a.m. police officers arrested and charged an 82-year-old male with domestic assault. It is alleged that grabbed his wife by the neck. She received minor injuries in the incident. He will appear in court on August 12.
On the morning of July 8, two residents of Brown Street were reporting break-ins to their sheds. One reported that theives removed a gas can from their shed and the second incident invloved the theft of a lawn mower from a shed. A third break in was reported to a residence in the 100-block of Dennis Street. It is uncertain what was taken in this break in.
