YOUNG OFFENER ASSAULT
Yesterday at 6:00 p.m., a 14-year-old female young offender assaulted another female at a residence on Wellington St. West. The young offender assaulted the victim by pushing her and slapping her in the face. When Patrol Officers arrived at the residence at 7:20 pm to investigate, the young offender threw eggs striking both the cruiser and one of the officers. The female then fled the scene on foot but was arrested a short time later and charged with assault and mischief under $ 5,000.00.

During this investigation, 2 more young offenders found themselves being arrested for offences related to egg throwing. One 15-year-old male young offender exited the residence and threw eggs at the police cruiser, striking it as the police officers arrived. While the youth was being arrested he struggled with the officers and pushed both of them before he was taken under control.
