ANOTHER ARREST FOR STOLEN GUNS
Yesterday evening, detectives from the investigation services section of the police service arrested a third person in connection with the possession of firearms stolen from a break and enter on Charles Street (see yesterday's report). A male young offender has been charged with two counts of theft under $5,000, possession of stolen property and two counts of breach of probation. When officers raided an Albert Street residence to arrest the youth, he fled on foot but surrendered himself shortly thereafter.

BREAK AND ENTERS
Police were called to investigate three break and enters yesterday and today. A private residence in the 700 block of Landslide Road was broken into yesterday morning.

Last evening, patrol officers were called to a home on Railroad Avenue where thieves had forced entry into a house through a window and were in the process of gathering their loot when the residents returned and frightened them away.
