Second Arrest Made in Assault

On January 19th at approx. 2:30 Am a 19-year-old female attended at the downtown address of a female known to her. While there the accused assaulted the victim and a friend by punching, kicking and biting the victims. The accused was subsequently arrested on Jan 22nd. The accused Meagan Catherine MacIntrye, of 76 St. Andrews Terr. is charged with Assault X2 and Breach of Probation X2. She will be appearing in Bail Court today at 10:00 Am.

Police have arrested a second person involved in the above incident. Jordyn MacIntrye, age 25 of 76 St. Andrews Terr. has been charged with two counts of Assault. It is alleged that the accused did at 2:30 Am on Jan 19th attend a downtown address with co-accused Meagan MacIntrye and assault two females at that location. The assaults consisted of the accused pulling the hair of the two victims and punching the girls in the face several times. Ms MacIntrye will be appearing in court on Mar 5th at 9:00 Am.

Possession Charges Laid

Yesterday afternoon at approx. 3:50 Pm the Joint Forces Drug Unit executed a warrant at a downtown address. As a result of the search two males were arrested and charged with Possession of Substance. Thomas Ronald Mason, age 56 is alleged to have been in possession of a small quantity of Cocaine.

Co-accused Germano Gaudenzi, age 58 is alleged to have been in possession small amounts of marihuana and some codeine tablets. The two accused that share a residence in the downtown area will be appearing in court on Feb. 26th.

Arrested on Outstanding Warrant

At approx. 9:30 Am yesterday morning City Police had occasion to stop 31-year-old Emily Louise Yeomans. After a short investigation it was learned that Ms Yeomans was wanted for an outstanding warrant. As a result she was arrested and charged with Failing to Appear in Court. Ms Yeomans of 220 Alexandra St. will be appearing in court on Feb 26th.

Break & Enters

City Police are investigating two new reports of break and enter. A garage in the 300 block of Carpin Beach Rd. was entered. Taken were power tools and a child’s ATV 4 wheeler- camouflage in colour.

Culprits broke into a residence in the 200 block of McNabb St. yesterday. It is unknown at this time what was taken.

Mischief

City Police are investigating one report of mischief to a vehicle. A car parked in the 100 block of
Boehmer Blvd had one of its windows broken.

Theft From Vehicles

Police are investigating two reports of theft from vehicles. The incidents took place in the 100 block of MacMurray Ave and the 100 block of Wilcox St. There was also one attempted entry into a vehicle in the 100 block of Francis St.
