Domestic Related Arrests for Bail Court Appearance this Morning:
A 41 year-old male was arrested on the 14th of January at 4:25 am at his residence and charged with two counts of assault. It is alleged that on the 14th of January around 12:30 am the accused got into a verbal argument with his wife at their residence and started to push her around. When his 10 year-old son attempted to intervene he was slapped in the face. Non-life threatening injuries that did not require any medical attention were reported.
A 32 year-old female was arrested on the 13th of January at 10:22 pm at her residence and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the 13th of January at approximately 10 pm the accused got into a verbal argument with her common law spouse at their residence and assaulted him by pushing, kicking and slapping him across the face. No injuries were reported.
A 48 year-old female was arrested on the 13th of January at 7:30 pm at her residence and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the 13th of January the accused slapped her common law husband in the head. No injuries were reported.
Impaired Driver Arrested:
26 year-old Patrick Jolicoeur of 56 Queen Street in Langton Ontario was arrested on the 13th of January at 8:50 pm on Great Northern Road and charged with one count of impaired driving and one count of fail to provide breath sample. It is alleged that on the 13th of January around 8:37 pm the accused while driving his 2000 Ford Pick up northbound on Great Northern Road, lost control in the area of Fifth Line East and struck a snowbank. When police attended to investigate the collision they found the driver, the accused, to be under the influence of alcohol. The accused refused to provide a breath sample at the station. He is to appear in court on the 23rd of February.
Male Arrested on Outstanding Warrant:
26 year-old Mario Vine of #3-414 Queen Street West was arrested on an outstanding warrant on the 13th of January at 10:30 pm at his residence and charged with one count of theft under $5,000.00 and one count of unlawfully in a dwelling house from an incident back on the 9th of January when the accused allegedly entered an apartment of a person known to him that was not home at the time and stole a Nintendo Game Cube system, the memory card, the controller and three games and then pawned the items at a local pawn shop.
Break and Enter Reported to Residence on Spruce Street:
A break and enter was reported yesterday to a residence on Spruce Street that occurred sometime after the 3rd of January. A computer, some clothing and a Paul Stanley guitar were reported stolen.
