Three Males Apprehended after Breaking into Coin Operated Parking Control at Group Health Centre:

On the 4th of February at approximately 3:04 am officers on routine patrol observed three suspicious males, all wearing dark clothing, one carrying a crow bar, in the coin operated gate area of the parking lot at the Group Health Centre at 240 McNabb Street. When officers approached, the males ran to a vehicle that was parked just west of the Centre. The males got into the vehicle but officers were able to get them out and arrest them before they could drive off. Officers discovered that the parking gate and circuit board was damaged, the lock broken and the money box was missing. When officers checked the vehicle they located the money box inside.

As a result the following three males were arrested and all charged with:

23 year-old Mitchell Waite of 14 Pawating Place was charged with one count of possession of property obtained by crime, one count of theft under $5,000.00, one count of mischief under $5,000.00 and one count of possession of house breaking tools. When this accused was searched he was found in possession of small amount of cannabis resin and was further charged with one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance.

22 year-old Brandon Horner of 123 Chicora Crescent was charged with one count of possession of property obtained by crime, one count of theft under $5,000.00, one count of mischief under $5,000.00, one count of possession of house breaking tools and one count of breach of probation.

18 year-old Clifford Frech of 14 Pawating Place was charged with one count of possession of property obtained by crime, one count of theft under $5,000.00, one count of mischief under $5,000.00 and one count of possession of house breaking tools.

All three are to appear in bail court this morning.

Domestic Related Arrest:

A 24 year-old male was arrested on the 4th of February at 2:32 am on Queen Street West and charged with one count of assault and one count of breach of a release document. It is alleged that on the 4th of February around 12:30 am the accused attended at his girlfriend’s residence, got into a verbal argument with her and assaulted her by biting her several times. The accused was later located and arrested at his residence. At the time of the incident the accused was on a recognizance order with curfew conditions to be in his residence. The victim received non-life threatening injuries as result. The accused is to appear in bail court this morning.
