13 Motor Vehicle accidents have been reported to the City Police and the Collision reporting centre since 5 am this morning. * * * A passenger side window was smashed out of a vehicle parked on Ontario Ave. between the Crescent and Simpson St.

13 Motor Vehicle accidents have been reported to the City Police and the Collision reporting centre since 5 am this morning.

A passenger side window was smashed out of a vehicle parked on Ontario Ave. between the Crescent and Simpson St. This occurred sometime between Monday night and today. Nothing was taken and there are no suspects at this time.

A theft of a Galaxy Samsung tablet was reported by a resident in the 100 block of Cathcart St. The home was not broken into and the persons involved may be known to the homeowner.

On February 19, 2013 at 5:30 pm Patrol Officers came upon Richard Souriol, age 25 of 296 Sussex Rd. Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. A police records check revealed Souriol was wanted for failing to attend court. Officers arrested Souriol and charged him with Failing to Re-attend Court. He will now appear in bail court on Wed., February 20th.

On February 19, 2013 the Police Service responded to eleven motor vehicle collisions. Most of these collisions were minor in nature. Drivers are again reminded to take extra time and caution while driving in winter conditions.
