In the early morning of February 18th patrol officers received a call regarding a possibly impaired female leaving the Sault Area Hospital operating a vehicle. Officers were able to locate the vehicle in the area of Black Road and Second Line.

In the early morning of February 18th patrol officers received a call regarding a possibly impaired female leaving the Sault Area Hospital operating a vehicle. Officers were able to locate the vehicle in the area of Black Road and Second Line. A roadside breath test was performed which the driver failed. She was subsequently transported to the City Police station where she registered readings over the legal limit on the Intoxilyzer. 58 year old Marilyn Swanson of Vera Ave. was charged with operating a motor vehicle being over the legal limit and will be appearing in Provincial Court on March 23rd.

On February 17, 2015 at 8 p.m., police officers arrested a 30-year-old female for assault. It is alleged that the female struck her spouse. He received minor injuries in the incident. She will appear in court on February 18.

On February 17, 2015 at about 11:30 p.m., police officers attended a residence on Douglas Street and arrested a 33-year-old male for assault and mischief to property. It is alleged that the male assaulted his spouse and damaged property belonging to her. He will appear in court on February 18.
