MAN ARESTED FOR HAVING SEX WITH TEEN
It is alleged that from December 2001 to September 2002, Anthony Petroni, age 54 of Goetz Street had a 14/15-year-old female come to his residence and perform sexual acts on him in exchange for money and cigarettes. In December 2001 the victim was 14 years old and turned 15 in 2002.
The sex acts occurred on many different occasions through the time span and occurred even when the victim declined Petroni's advances. On one occasion the victim was kept at the residence against her will.
In early December, the victim disclosed this information to detectives from the Investigation Services Section of the Police. Detectives arrested and charged Petroni yesterday at 3:10 pm with Householder Permitting Sexual Activity, Obtaining Sexual Services From Person Under 18, Sexual Assault and Forcible Confinement. He is scheduled to appear in Bail Court today.
