TWO BREAK AND ENTERS City police are investigating a break and enter last night in the 100 block of Great Northern Road. A piece of concrete was used to break a window and gain access to a business. A small quantity of cash was taken.

City police are investigating a break and enter last night in the 100 block of Great Northern Road. A piece of concrete was used to break a window and gain access to a business. A small quantity of cash was taken.

There was a second break and enter last night. A patio door was forced to gain entry in the 400 block of River Road. Nothing appears to have been taken.

COUNTERFEIT $10.00 STILL CIRCULATING
There are more counterfeit $10.00 bills floating around Sault Ste. Marie. Police have recovered 43 of the bills since December 1. The last four digits of the serial number are always 4003 or 4004. Merchants are asked to check the numbers, especially if you receive a large quantity of $10.00 bills. Also make note of the person giving you the money.
