Male Arrested for Sexual Offences
Investigation Services detectives with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 26 year-old male from Toronto, Ontario last night at the police station after he turned himself in on outstanding warrants for sexually related offences. The accused has been charged with two counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual interference and two counts of sexual exploitation. The charges are in relation to two incidents that allegedly took place between December 1st 2009 and the 31st of January 2010 involving a female victim that was under the age of 14 years that he had care over. It is alleged that the accused touched the victim in an inappropriate sexual manner on two separate occasions. The accused is to attend in bail court this morning.

Male Arrested for Smash and Grab Related Theft form Vehicle
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service Street Team arrested 22 year-old Troy Bozowskyi of #3-814 Wellington Street East last night at the Algoma Remand and Treatment Centre and charged him with one count of possession of stolen property, one count of fraud and one count of breach of probation. It is alleged that on the 13th November at 6:01 pm the accused attended at the Mac's Mart Store at 187 Gore Street, and while being captured on video surveillance, presented the clerk with two Lotto Max tickets that had been stolen from a pickup truck that was broken into in a local hotel parking lot on the 13th of November. At the time of the offence the accused was on probation with conditions that he keep the peace and be good.

Domestic Related Arrests
Officers with the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 53 year-old male at 10:42 pm at night and charged him with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the 30th of November the accused assaulted his common law partner at their residence that resulted in non-life threatening injuries to the victim.

Officers with the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 17 year-old female yesterday afternoon and charged her with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the 30th of November she assaulted her boyfriend during a verbal argument. No injuries were reported.

Male Youth Arrested for Sexual Assault
Investigation Services officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 17 year-old male yesterday morning and charged him with one count of sexual assault. It is alleged that on the 27th of November the accused sexually assaulted a 14 year-old female known to him while at his residence. He is to appear in court on the 11th of January.

Theft
Officers with the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 15 year-old male youth at 9:40 pm last night on Queen Street East and charged him with one count of theft under $5,000. It is alleged that on the 30th of November the accused attended at the LCBO Sore on Churchill Boulevard and stole four bottles of liquor and left the store. The accused was located by city police a short time later on Queen Street East with the liquor in his possession and was arrested. He is to appear in court on the 11th of January.

Black Road Barn Break and Enter Under Investigation
A barn in the 800 block of Black Road was broken into sometime between 5 pm Thursday the 25th of November and 9 am Tuesday the 30th of November. A number of tools and electrical supplies were reported stolen, some including 10- 18 volt Dewalt drill kits, 18 volt Bosch drill kits, a Honda 2000 generator, various hand tools and power cable cutters. The investigation is ongoing.
