On Dec. 13, 2016 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 51-year-old male for offences relating to a domestic violence investigation. It is alleged that on Dec. 12, 2016 the accused was at the residence of his girlfriend and later engaged in a verbal argument with her. Later, the accused threatened bodily harm to the victim.
At the time of this allegation the accused was bound by a probation order with conditions that included he remain away from the residence of the victim and not communicate with the victim. The accused has been charged with one count of uttering threats and 5 counts of breach of probation. He will appear in bail court this morning.
