On August 26, 2015 at 5:15 am Patrol Officers arrested and charged a 41 year old male with Assault. In a domestic related incident the male assaulted his girlfriend by striking her. She received minor injuries in the assault. He will appear in bail court on August 26, 2015.
On the morning of August 26, 2015, a home owner in the 100 block of Third Line East reported a break in to their utility trailer. Thieves removed tools from the trailer.
On August 25, 2015 Jonathon James Beharriell, age 25 was arrested by city police for theft under $5,000. It is alleged that the accused entered an LCBO and put 2 bottles of alcohol into a shopping cart and left the building making no attempt to pay for the items. The accused was apprehended by city police. The accused is scheduled to appear in court on September 28, 2015 at 9 a.m.
On August 26, 2015 city police arrested a male accused, age 36 for breach of a recognizance. It is alleged that they attended in the area of Albert Street East in response to a male and female involved in a verbal argument. Police found that the accused was in an intoxicated state. The accused is on court ordered conditions not to consume alcohol. The accused will appear in bail court on August 26, 2015 at 10 a.m.
