YOUNG OFFENDER TURNS SELF IN A young offender attended the city police station to deal with an outstanding charge. The young offender is alleged to have missed a fingerprint date at the police station on March 25th.

A young offender attended the city police station to deal with an outstanding charge. The young offender is alleged to have missed a fingerprint date at the police station on March 25th. A court date of May 25th has been set with regards to the new charge.

THEFT CHARGE

35 year-old Claire Judy LeDuc of 606 Wellington Street has been charged with theft under $5000 and breach of probation after she was alleged to have taken a cheque that did not belong to her. The cheque is reported to belong to another resident of that building. Leduc breached her probation by not being of good behavior. A May 31st court date has been set.

BREACHES PEACE BOND

A 40 year-old male will appear in bail court this morning after breaching his peace bond yesterday. The male is alleged to have threatened the victim therefore violating a condition of the peace bond.

IMPAIRED DRIVING CHARGE

When patrol officers observed a vehicle been driven in an erratic manner this morning they stopped and checked the vehicle in the parking lot of Burger King. Kevin Johnson age 38 of 1316 Third Line West was arrested for impaired driving and also later charged with over 80 mg. Mr. Johnson will appear in court on May 31st.

THE OLD WEST LIVES ON

A neighbor dispute yesterday afternoon led to the arrest of 71 year-old Lester Nagy of 727 Wellington Street East. Mr. Nagy is alleged to have pushed another man and then waved a hand saw in the man’s face after a dispute over land and shrubs. Mr. Nagy has been charged with assault and assault with a weapon and is scheduled to appear in court on May 31st.

LONG BAIL COURT HEARING

At approximately 5:50 pm last evening Karl Crack turned himself in to the city police. Mr. Crack age 40 will appear in bail court this morning on several charges that are alleged to have occurred between October 1 2003 to November 17, 2003 and then from January 2004 to April 12 2004.

Crack is accused of obstructing justice, sexual interference, sexual exploitation, criminal harassment, 5 counts of sexual assault and forcible confinement. It is reported that there are 3 victims involved with this incident.
