VIDEO: Tractor reported stolen from Desbarats area

Theft occurred sometime between May 30 and July 13

Police hope to identify the suspects responsible for the theft of a tractor from a garage in the Desbarats area.

A news release issued today by Crime Stoppers states that the theft occurred sometime between May 30 and July 13.

Full text of the news release follows:

Crime Stoppers and the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police are requesting your assistance in identifying suspects involved in an incident of break, enter and theft.

Sometime between the 30th of May 2021 and the 13th of July, 2021, unknown suspects attended Boyer Drive in Johnson Township where they gained entry to the garage by cutting a chain.

Once inside, the suspects removed a 2006/2007 John Deere tractor, model 3520, green in colour, VIN LV3520H260140.

The approximate value of the tractor is $40,000. Also removed was the bill of sale and the registration papers for the tractor.
