VIDEO: Donation box swiped from downtown Tim Hortons

Police trying to identify unknown thief who robbed the Bay Street location on Feb. 15

Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service are trying to identify a suspect involved in a theft at a local Tim Hortons.

Around 10 p.m. on Feb. 15, an unidentified man entered the Tim Hortons on Bay Street and proceeded to steal a charity donation box, which contained an unknown amount of cash.

The individual was wearing a silver jacket with a sizable hood and was carrying a bag. He left the scene as a passenger in a white truck.
