VIDEO: Break-in at Johnson Township landfill under investigation

Incident happened sometime between December 2020 and May 2021

Police hope to identify the suspects responsible for a break-in that occurred at the Johnson Township landfill site sometime between December 2020 and May 2021.

A news release issued by Crime Stoppers states that game cameras, a coffee maker and a water cooler were stolen from the site.

Full text of the news release follows:

Crime Stoppers and the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police are requesting your assistance in identifying suspects involved in an incident of break and enter and theft.

Between December 2020 and May 2021 unknown suspects attended the Johnson Township landfill site located on Government Road where suspects damaged the share shed door, the office window and also removed a variety of items which belonged to the employees that work at the landfill site.

Stolen from the share shed was:
    •    SpyPoint game cameras
    •    coffee maker
    •    water cooler
